Issues

Economy and Jobs

As a former small business owner I understand just how burdensome needless regulations can be.  I know what its like to have to make payroll. We need to unshackle small business and stop the over taxation.
We need to reduce the cost of living here in New York. Albany policies are ineffective and driving people out of our state. We should be incentivizing individuals to move here providing paying jobs and lower costs.

Education

32 states offer some sort of school of choice program. Now more than ever more states are offering school of choice programs. My goal is to give parents more freedom in choosing their child's school to ensure students receive the best education possible. When in Albany I plan to create a statewide voucher program to lessen the costs to parents. School of choice gives parents greater freedom and incentivizes public schools to increase their performance.
Investing in our future generation is essential for our society.

Upstate Interests

We need to put the interests of Upstate and our district first. For too long Albany Democrats have put the interests of NYC first. New York State has spent  over $4 Billion on migrant funding over the last 2 years. This needs to stop. We need to take care of those in our own community rather than outsource our generosity. Veterans and homeless should take precedent.

Taxes and Spending

New York State has the highest tax burden in the nation. The cost of living is out of control. Our state budget was more than double that of Florida despite having a lower population. Something is seriously wrong in Albany.  I plan to reduce state spending across the board while cutting taxes. As your Assemblyman I pledge to NEVER vote for a tax increase.

Energy

I want to ensure New Yorkers have a right to their choice of energy, heat, and cooling in their homes. The government has their hands in our wallets and now our homes. The overreach needs to stop.
We have vast energy resources capable of powering our area, driving economic growth, and bolstering our energy independence.

Agriculture

We have lost thousands of farms in NY over the last few years and most of them being small farms. Albany politicians would have you believe they are "for the farmers" when in reality that couldn't be farther from the truth. Career politicians have hurt small farms by giving subsidies to larger farms. In New York we want clean food, we want healthy living, and want to buy from our local farmers. Farmers have been treated so poorly in NY and have lost money for years under One part rule. We need someone to fight for and bring back our local small farms.
